Details & Origin
This vintage kimono clutch is made of jacquard-woven silk and metallic threads, which give it a distinctive sheen. You can notice the bag changes colours in different lights, and though it seems different in some photos, the main colour is a light silver. It has a very thin, warm orange edging on the top part.
The motif represented is called Kasumi (霞), a pattern depicting the appearance of mist drifting in the air. It’s created by hand-embroidering silver lamé threads onto the fabric.
Condition
Used, overall good conditions, with some light stains at the back and side (visible in the last two photos). The price is fixed accordingly, and the stains are not too visible when used.
