Details & Origin

This vintage hand pouch is made of traditional Japanese textiles. It was originally designed for children, to accessorize kimono outfits. With its bold print, I think they can make a beautiful clutches for older girls as well! I’ve added a removable chain so you can also wear it on your shoulder or as a cross-body.

It’s the perfect size to carry the very essentials: your phone, small wallet, keys, and lip balm. You can check the exact dimensions of the bag below.

The motif represents orange and red tsuru flying before gigantic snowflakes.

Fabric

Often produced by Obi artisans, but unlike most Obi fabrics, these accessory textiles (to be used for clutch and shoes) are designed to be strong and resist friction over the years of use. It is woven with lamé threads and synthetic silk imitation.

Condition

Used. Correct conditions apart from a stain on the side of the bag, caused by humidity (see photo 7). For this reason, the price is calculated much lower than other bags of this style you will see in store. The bag looks perfectly fine on the other side.
