This clutch is made with the silk of a vintage kimono.
Recycling kimono textiles into bags and other small accessories seems very popular nowadays, but it is not a new trend. This clutch was made with the remnant of a haori, a kimono jacket.
The motif represents Japanese Plum Blossoms, commonly used as a kimono motif. In some photos, you can also see that the same motif also appears in the texture of the fabric.
Opens and closes with a snap button.
Condition
Used, in good condition. No noticeable damage. Small stains on the inner fabric (see last photo).
