Bumbag - Pink Momiji & river

Mikan original creation.

This bumbag is a combination of antique Japanese textiles and resistant new materials. It is handcrafted in my studio in Kyoto.

Details

The main fabric comes from an antique obi and is made of silk. The motif represents a maple tree by a water stream. The silver waves create a delicate pattern on the salmon-pink background. The Momiji leaves are displayed on the top part of the bag.

The back of the bag is made in a lightweight 3D mesh which allows the bag to take minimum space when not full and perfectly fit against your body.

The adjustable strap allows you to wear it as a bum bag or a crossbody bag.

Materials

• Front: antique Japanese obi belt 80%, silk 20% washi paper, gold hints

• Back: resistant 3D mesh polyester & nylon mix

• Gold waterproof zipper

• Adjustable nylon strap

• height: 19 cm in the centre front

• width: 18 cm at the bottom and 29 cm at the largest

• depth: up to 15 cm

• adjustable strap: decide on the length when adding this bag to your cart
