Details & Origin
This clutch is made with kimono silk, decorated with hand-dyed motifs, a technique called yuzen. Besides the motifs that are dyed, you can also see some motifs showing in the texture of the fabric (waves and flowers) that were created when the base silk was woven.
The inside is made of plain silk, and the whole clutch is consolidated with a sturdy structure.
Condition
Used. Good conditions, some small stains visible in the lightest part of the motif (near the yellow flowers, see last photo).
