Bumbag DIY kit - Great wave

Create a unique bum bag from Japanese antique fabrics with step by step guidance. Besides the extremely rewarding experience of doing it yourself, this kit offers the opportunity to recycle precious kimono and obi silks and turn them into a versatile design. It includes all necessary fabrics and patterns to create your bag at home as well as sewing instructions available in English or in French.

Design

Bum bag, waist bag, “banane”, we all call it differently, but this versatile design is worn all around the globe. In fact, it is extremely handy and totally genderless! This is a soft bum bag with 2 front pockets, designed to be easy to sew even if you have just begun sewing, and a tutorial video is provided.

Composition

• the main fabric: a piece of Obi representing waves in white,silver and gold on a purple background. Silk and guilded threads give this fabric a subtle shine.

• the inner fabric: a piece of resistant man's Kimono fabric represeting abstract patterns of clouds and tharditional motifs.

• the back piece: a black 3D mesh, strong and light fabric with a lasting resistance to friction.100% Polyester

• the zipper: a gold matt coated zipper with 2 sliders
