This bag combines traditional Japanese textiles and new materials. It is handcrafted in my studio in Kyoto.
Features
Sturdy and lightweight, this bumbag keeps your belongings within easy reach when your hands are busy.
The front of the bag is made of obi material and is covered with a protective treatment to help the silk live longer. The back is made of a lightweight and resistant 3D mesh. The adjustable belt allows you to wear it around your waist/hips or across your chest.
It is roomy, and the soft back fabric allows the bag to adapt to your body shape when not too full. When you need to pack more, a small water bottle, a small notebook, etc. It expands to make more space.
Motif and fabric details
This motif represents folding fans decorated with peonies, clovers and chrysanthemums. It is a mix of silk threads and guilded washi paper.
