Bumbag - Kirisha & ume

Mikan original creation.

This bumbag is a combination of antique Japanese textiles and new materials. It is handcrafted in my studio in Kyoto.

Details

The main fabric comes from an antique obi entirely made of silk. The motif represents various botanical elements (chrysanthemums, pine, plum blossoms) and an old rikshaw.

The back of the bag is made in a lightweight 3D mesh which allows the bag to take minimum space when not full and perfectly fit against your body.

The adjustable strap allows you to wear it as a bum bag or a crossbody bag.

• Front: antique Japanese obi belt 100% silk

• Back: resistant 3D mesh polyester & nylon mix

• Gold waterproof zipper

• Adjustable nylon strap

• width: 18 cm at the bottom and 29 cm at the largest

• depth: up to 15 cm
