This bumbag is a combination of antique Japanese textiles and new materials. It is handcrafted in my studio in Kyoto.

Details

The main fabric comes from an antique obi and is made of silk. The motif represents a crane flying among the plum trees and pines. This fabric comes from our Obi collection. If you are interested in learning more about it, you can read more on this link.

The back of the bag is made in a lightweight 3D mesh which allows the bag to take minimum space when not full and perfectly fit against your body.

The adjustable strap allows you to wear it as a bumbag or a crossbody bag.

Materials

• Front: antique Japanese obi belt 80%, silk 20% washi paper, gold hints

• Back: resistant 3D mesh polyester & nylon mix

• Black waterproof zipper

• Adjustable nylon strap

• width: 18 cm at the bottom and 29 cm at the largest

• depth: up to 15 cm
