Kyoto’s natural world

There are countless reasons to visit the old capital of Kyoto: preserved traditional culture, must-see architecture, deep art scene, an infinite list of gardens to visit…but one of my favourite aspect of the eclectic town is the presence of greenery and wildlife in our daily routine.

Whether you take a long walk by the Kamo river, or you happen to pass by in the middle of a busy day, there is always a little bird song to listen to, a new flower in bloom to notice, a new element catching your attention and remind you that nature is all around.

Let me show you what caught my attention on my recent wanders.
