Coming out of your hotel, walk South along Nishinotoin Street for about 6 min and turn right on Matsubara Street. Continue to walk West for about 10 min, you will cross Horikawa Street and Omiya Street. Then, turn left to take the second street down after you pass Omiya. Walk down for a minute and take the first street on your right. The first temple on your left is Horenji. Walk in towards the door at the end of the garden, right in front of you. You can take your shoes off and come inside, I’ll be there!
There is a bus at 9:17 but if you wish to come earlier just in case, I will be there from 10 minutes before.

Coming out of your hotel walk North to Shijo Street and walk West to Shijo Horikawa bus stop. Take the bus 207 for Toji Temple and ride 2 stops. Stop at Omiya Matsubara bus stop. Cross over, walk down South on Omiya Street and take the first street on your right, Matsubara Steet. Then take the second street on your left. Walk down for a minute and take the first street on your right. The first temple on your left is Horenji. Walk in towards the door at the end of the garden, right in front of you. You can take your shoes off and come inside, I’ll be there!
